Earned is designed from the ground up with privacy as a core principle, not an afterthought. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data with any third party. All information you enter into Earned — including your income, tax rate, work schedule, purchase history, and spending data — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We have no servers that receive your data, no analytics pipelines that track your behaviour, and no advertising infrastructure of any kind.
We do not collect: your name, email address, phone number, or any contact information; your precise or approximate location; device identifiers, advertising IDs, or fingerprinting data; usage analytics, crash reports sent to our servers, or behavioural telemetry; financial account numbers, payment card data, or banking credentials; biometric data of any kind. If Apple's platform services (such as the App Store or TestFlight) collect crash diagnostics independently, that collection is governed solely by Apple's Privacy Policy and is outside our control.
Earned stores the following data locally on your device, solely to provide its core functionality: • Your hourly net wage (derived from income, tax rate, and work schedule settings) • Currency preferences and currency display order • Purchase history entries you create (item name, price, date) • Monthly spending budget settings • App appearance and language preferences This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable iCloud Sync (see Section 4) or use the Export Backup feature (see Section 5).
If you choose to enable iCloud Sync in Settings, your data is encrypted and synced through your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit framework. This sync occurs exclusively between your own Apple devices signed into the same Apple ID. We — Earned's developer — never have access to your iCloud data. Your iCloud data is governed by Apple's iCloud Terms and Conditions and Apple's Privacy Policy. You may disable iCloud Sync at any time in Settings, which immediately stops further sync.
Earned allows you to export your data as a JSON file and import it again for backup or device migration purposes. This file is created locally on your device and shared only through channels you explicitly choose (such as AirDrop, Files, or email). We never receive, intercept, or store any exported backup files.
Earned includes a Home Screen widget that displays your current hourly rate and recent totals. Widget data is passed from the main app to the widget extension using Apple's shared App Group container, stored entirely on your device. No widget data is transmitted externally.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under the GDPR: • Right of Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold. • Right to Rectification — correct inaccurate data directly within the app. • Right to Erasure — delete all your data via "Reset All Data" in Settings. • Right to Restriction — restrict processing by disabling iCloud Sync. • Right to Data Portability — export your data using the Export Backup feature. • Right to Object — contact us at privacy@jaam.group. • Right to Withdraw Consent — where processing is consent-based, you may withdraw at any time. Because we do not collect or process personal data on our servers, most of these rights are exercised directly within the app.
If you are a California resident: • Right to Know — we collect no personal information on our servers. • Right to Delete — delete all data via "Reset All Data" in Settings. • Right to Opt-Out of Sale — we do not sell personal information. • Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate for exercising any CCPA right.
Earned is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we collect no personal data on our servers at all, no such collection can occur.
Your data is protected by the security mechanisms of your device, including device passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, and iOS data encryption at rest. iCloud data, when synced, is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app's features or applicable law. The updated policy will be published within the app and will note a new effective date.

By downloading, installing, or using Earned ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and JAAM Group International LLC ("we", "us", "our"), the developer of Earned.
Earned is a personal finance utility that converts prices into equivalent work time based on your income settings. It is provided for personal, non-commercial use. The App does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. All calculations are estimates based on the data you enter and should not be relied upon for financial decision-making without independent professional advice.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not: copy, modify, or distribute the App or any portion of it; reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; sublicense or sell access to the App; use the App for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the income, tax, and schedule data you enter into Earned. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy of calculations produced by the App. Results are provided for informational and illustrative purposes only. Consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
All intellectual property rights in Earned — including its design, user interface, source code, graphics, trademarks, and the "Earned" name and logo — are owned by or licensed to JAAM Group International LLC. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, JAAM Group International LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time, with or without notice. We may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted within the App with a new effective date. Your continued use of the App after any change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic (for users in the European Union) and, where applicable, the laws of the State of California (for users in the United States), without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
